Pakistan proposes to increase gas tariff for commercial and industrial users to finance infrastructure projects such as the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Asim Hussain Tuesday.
"We have forwarded a proposal to the country's apex decision making body, the federal cabinet, to rationalize the gas tariff, which means increasing the tax on fertilizer, compressed natural gas and other industrial groups," he said.
